Uberlytics CEO Tacoma Zach will be presenting a 3-hour short course on criticality analysis best practices at the 30th International Maintenance Conference on December 8, 2015 in Bonita Springs, Florida.
A criticality analysis is vital for successful reliability engineering and maintenance, asset management and risk management. It identifies the most important systems and assets in your operation and helps you set risk rankings, so that you can make better decisions and set priorities for the rest of your reliability and asset management activities.
This short course will teach the basics of conducting an effective criticality analysis. Participants will learn how to plan and prepare appropriately for a CA and what resources they need to gather (tools, data, personnel); learn best practices and overcome common challenges; discuss next steps following the analysis, how to apply the results and realize the full benefits.
Some questions that will be addressed:
How can I gain executive sponsorship and support for my program?
What is the difference between criticality and priority?
Why can’t I just use Pareto analysis?
How does criticality relate to risk?

In addition to presenting the short-course on criticality Uberlytics is proud to be a sponsor of the conference and to sponsor the Women In Reliability and Asset Management (WIRAM) also being held on December 8, 2015. We will be giving away a BB-8TM Droid – details will be in attendees’ conference welcome bags.
